A byproduct of installing my new SATA hard drive was that my script for copying photos off my camera no longer worked – specifically, umount would fail. The solution – use pumount instead.

The NoScript extension for Firefox is what we call a “must-have”, but it has a very annoying habit of directing you to their website after each update. This comment on Life Hacker explains how to disable this.
